By JR (Japan Railway) train
By local train
It takes about 3 hours from Ueno Station in Tokyo to Nishinasuno station near ARI. Take the Utsunomiya Line in Ueno until Utsunomiya station and change there to the local train heading to Kuroiso. Get off at Nishinasuno station. It takes 10 minutes from Nishinasuno Station by taxi or car to ARI.
By Tôhoku Shinkansen (Super Express)
It takes 1 hour and 15 minutes from Tokyo to Nasushiobara station. From there, it takes 20 minutes to get to ARI by taxi or car. Alternatively, you can take a local train from Nasushiobara Station heading to Utsunomiya and get off at the next stop, Nishinasuno station.
