ARI Director Tomoko Arakawa will be the guest speaker at an event “Sacchan, Welcome Home” in Takasaki on Saturday, April 27.
“Satchan, welcome back” is an event about Sachiko Yajima, a doctor in Kamagasaki.
Sachiko Yajima…a doctor who devoted herself to medical care in Kamagasaki, Nishinari-ku, Osaka City, a town of day laborers, without separating ordinary patients, people living on the streets, and the living poor.
She passed away in 2009 at the young age of 34. We wonder how Sacchan’s heart, which genuinely faced any kind of people, was nurtured.

Arakawa will participate in the panel discussion as the Director of ARI, a school where international participants from all over the world, with diverse social environments, gather to learn.
