

Study Camp
The Study Camp program is a unique opportunity for young people to experience organic agriculture in an international community.
Groups of all sizes from schools, churches, and clubs join to practice cross-cultural communication and to learn about soil, food, life, and service.

Curry-Making Workshops
Work together to make a style of curry unique to Northeast India, and enjoy each part, from cutting the first vegetable to eating the last bite!

Hear from our experienced staff about various topics related to sustainable agriculture, leadership, or global development. We choose topics to best suit your program needs.

One of our community-wide recreation events might happen during your stay.
Program Facilities: Nasu Seminar House

Located a three-minute walk from the ARI campus, Nasu Seminar House is an accommodation facility used for a variety of purposes, including study camps, English Farm programs, and visits from Japan and abroad.

NSH is mainly used for hosting group visits for study camps, particularly during school vacations.
Other times of the year, NSH hosts book fairs, small gatherings, and curry workshops using ingredients from the ARI farm.

For groups from within Japan, ARI will arrange bus pickup from Nishinasuno or Nasushiobara stations at 13:30 on the first day of programming.

Environment & Conditions
(1) We aim to keep an ecologically healthy environment around the campus. That’s why we avoid using surfactant soaps.
(2) We don’t have air-conditioning in dorm rooms.
(3) We do not receive Working Visitors in April as the new participants of the Rural Leaders Training Program are forming a new community of learning.
Animal Hygiene & Disease Prevention
We follow strict livestock regulations to prevent epidemic diseases on our farm.
(1) People who have entered Japan from a foreign country within the past one week are not allowed to enter livestock houses.
(2) Do not bring clothes or shoes which you have used abroad within the past four months in the livestock houses.
